Ghostly sailors and sweethearts come to life in underwater art gallery

This month marks 69 years since Allied troops landed in Normandy, France, as part of their now legendary D-Day invasion against the Nazis in World War II.

Now one of the U.S. Navy ships which helped carry off the remarkable mission — the USS Mohawk, which was sunk off the coast of Florida last year to be used as an artificial reef — has been turned into an underwater gallery, featuring photographs of retro sailors and glamorous girls in a ghostly fantasy world.
