Bob Diamond to talk about his being forced to quit

After his being forced to quit, Bob Diamond, the former boss of Barclays, he was supposed to stand up and fight for himself before talking to members of the parliament. However, he is going to talk only in front of them and nothing more.

Everyone expected that by leaving his position Bob Diamond would expose everyone responsible for the rate fixing scandal of the bank. According to what George Osborne said, about the intense pressure to Diamond for resignation, “the right decision for Barclays – and for the country”. “I think Bob Diamond’s resignation is the first step towards the new age of responsibility we need to see.”

However, the former chief of Barclays is in a completely different path, since he seems to has said that,  “I am deeply disappointed that the impression created by the events announced last week about what Barclays and its people stand for could not be further from the truth.”
