Man kills his wife after learning about her affair

It could easily be the scenario of a Hollywood movie, but it is only the sad reality.

David Leerman is being accused of having killed his wife Jennie after having learnt about her secret affair with Devon Laramy. According to some friends Jennie was not happy for some time now, and that is the reason she decided to take on a secret affair.

The couple was together for six months when Mrs Leerman decided to move in with her lover. According to Laramy , Mr Leerman decided to visit one and asked if he could see his wife. Laramy took him to the barn where Mrs Leerman was, and the last thing he heard were five gunshots.

Mr Leerman had a semi automatic gun with him which he used to shoot his wife five times in the chest.

Geoffrey Mercer QC, prosecuting, said “The prosecution case is that the defendant shot her having armed himself with a loaded gun, intending at the time he did it to kill her, he is guilty of murder”. Mr Leerman’s defence is going to center around “loss of control”.
