The car park in the Olympic sailing venue is drowned

According to the Association of British Insurers, a car park used as park-and-ride venue for the Olympic sailing venue, has been destroyed by the rain.

Also the restaurant that lies there, has been inundated by rain water, while the owner says that he had just paid 40,000 pounds for refurbishment.

A spokeswoman from the Association of British Insurers, said that while they are not sure about the scale of damage they think that the total payout will be 175 million pounds. A total that is far bigger than the one needed for the Cumbria floods in 2009.
